Creating an Environment That Enriches the Quality Of Life For Families And Individuals In Our Community
In October of 2005 Pastor Anglore Chambers and family, along with her sister Eugenie and nephew Shane, started a family fellowship in the garage of their home.
In 2010 With the strength of their growing membership they purchased this large and beautiful structure, at 1913 Freemansburg Avenues in Easton, that is now the permanent home of Soul Winners Pentecostal Church,
The Soul Winners Community Service (SWCS), an affiliation of Soul Winners Pentecostal Church was created as an outreach organization to build and unite the community through various programs for adults and youths.
SWCS assist families with clothing, food, mortgage, childcare, and even in time of emergencies do whatever is necessary to extend the gift of giving to our less fortunate brothers and sisters.
We organize group outings, where children from the community are treated to a day of fun and entertainment at nearby venues like Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom.
in 2011 we opened a food pantry that provides a twice monthly nutritional food service, that donates food to the community on Saturdays. Our pantry has since fed thousands of needy families and individuals. We also, extend the reach of our services by making charitable donations to other community based non-profit outreach organizations.
Pastor Restores Faith and Helps Heal
My name is Janelle, on January 5th 2016 my 8-year-old son Kaleb was diagnosed with a terminal brain disease, doctors gave him a few months to live. My son had lost all his abilities; he couldn’t walk, he lost the ability to sit up in bed, he wasn’t even able to speak.
When I got Kaleb’s diagnosis, I was very angry and devastated. I questioned God, I would pray every night for Kaleb to get better. After months of praying and pleading with god, things were still the same or even worse. Kaleb's disease worsened substantially, and my faith began to waiver. I stopped believing in God.
One day a nurse who wanted to meet Kaleb visited my home. she was interested in being his nurse. We agreed and she started working with him. little did I know she was also a pastor, Pastor Anglore Chambers
She ministered to me and my faith began to grow. I became so excited because I now believed that god would allow a miracle and heal Kaleb, one I’ve been praying for all this time.
Every day pastor Anglore would pray for Kaleb. Soon after this he started laughing and smiling again. My faith became even stronger as doctors couldn’t explain the dramatic change in my son, he was smiling again, and soon began to move his hands and feet which he had completely lost.
Pastor Anglore Chambers made me believe again and showed me that when God say yes, no one can say no. she brought me to soul winners and now I have found purpose. A purpose to
continue praying and believing that through god and prayer anything and all things are possible
